This policy explains how the Montclare Children's School Parents Association ("the PA," "we," "us") handles information collected through the Montclare Holiday Fair website at holidayfair.montclarepa.org.
What we collect
Face-painting waitlist: your name, your child's name, your mobile number, and a record of when you agreed to receive text messages.
50/50 raffle: the name you enter, an optional phone number or email (used only to reach you if you win after you've left), the number of tickets, the amount, how you paid (card or cash), and your ticket numbers. Card payments are processed in person by Square. We receive a Square transaction ID, never your card number.
Holiday shop: the name you enter for pickup, the items you order, and the total. You pay on Square's checkout page, which collects your card and contact details under Square's own privacy policy. We receive the order and a Square payment ID, never your card number.
On your device: the site stores a random code in your browser so it can show your own waitlist ticket, raffle orders, and shop orders, and it keeps your shop cart. We don't use tracking cookies, analytics, or ads.
How we use it
We use this information only to run the waitlist, the raffle, and the holiday shop: to call your child's turn, to record ticket sales and shop orders, to hand over orders at pickup, to draw and contact the winner, and to reply to you.
Text messages
Face-painting "turn ready" texts are sent on our behalf by J&Z Foundation Inc. through a text-messaging service provider, which handles your number only to deliver those messages. The J&Z Foundation Terms and Privacy Policy also apply to these texts. Reply STOP to any message to opt out.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent your information. We do not share phone numbers or text-messaging opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Retention
Waitlist entries, including phone numbers, are deleted after the fair. Raffle entries and shop orders are deleted after the fair, once prizes and orders are handed over and the totals are recorded. Square keeps its own payment records.
